Scotia Insurance Eastern Caribbean Limited (SIECL) was incorporated in St. Lucia on February 5th, 2014 as a wholly owned subsidiary of Barbados-based Scotia Insurance Caribbean Limited (SICL), and licensed as a life insurance Company on May 9th 2014. SIECL operates under the marketing brand of Scotia Insurance in the following countries:
- Anguilla
- Antigua & Barbuda
- Dominica
- Grenada
- St. Kitts & Nevis
- St. Lucia
- St. Vincent & the Grenadines
As a member of the Scotiabank® group of companies, which has been operating in the Caribbean since 1889, Scotia Insurance offers credit protection to Scotiabank customers on personal loans, residential mortgages, personal lines of credit, personal and small business credit cards.
Scotia Insurance products and services are also offered in other Caribbean countries through Scotia Insurance Caribbean Limited (SICL).
